  • Clients can visit toronto.ca/accesstohousing to determine the documents required for their appointment. Applicable documents may include: government issued identification card, proof of status in Canada, notice of assessment, SPP application and support documents.

  • If you do not have these items, you may not be able to receive service and will be directed to book an appointment at a later.

    The Access to Housing Resource Centre is open to the public for information and for help on how to apply for Rent-Geared-to-Income (“RGI”) housing and how to maintain your status in the application process. Access to Housing In-Person Resource Centre If you require emergency shelter, contact Central Intake at 41. We encourage applicants to consider Rent-Geared-to-Income housing as a long-term housing plan, not an immediate solution to housing needs or emergency situations. As a result, there are significant wait times for an applicant to receive housing.
